The mission of the FISU International Education Center (FISU IEC) is to promote sporting values and improve world University sports through creating an innovative educational platform, transfer of knowledge and gaining stakeholders efforts.
The FISU International Education Center was founded in 2012 in the Volga Region State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism through the efforts of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation, Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Students Sports Union.
The main objective of the center is to help professionals working in FNSUs and other student sport bodies to develop their knowledge in order to better manage their organizations and to create a long-term legacy of the Student Games.

Within a short period of time, the project will teach young journalists the ins and outs of sports journalism, enable them to see with their own eyes what press facilities and services are offered to the media at sports venues and give a basic understanding of the essential elements of event coverage in such areas as print reporting, sports photography and the Internet/new media
