In the European Universities Volleyball Championship semi the KSFEI team dropped the match to the Serbian players 3-0
Today the Kazan athletes will fight for the Championship bronze against the University of Almeria. The second semi of the X European Universities Volleyball Championship between Kazan State Finance and Economics Institute and the University of Belgrade started at 1:30pm yesterday. At that time the first finalist of the Championship was decided: the University of Bahcesehir beat the University of Almeria.
Unfortunately the Russian players failed to knock off the tournament favorites and lost all the sets. Still the Economist pushed the tough Serbians close in all the sets. It should be mentioned that Belgrade University played all the tournament sets without defeat.
Today the Kazan volleyball players will encounter the University of Almeria team which already fell to Economist in the group stage.
