Universiade Village Mayor holds question and answer session 23.12.2011

«Is there any possibility that ATMs and self-service terminals will be set up on the premises of the Universiade Village?» was the first question students asked during the Q&A session to the mayor.

«There is not only a possibility but an urgent need in them. Negotiations are underway, as we speak, with such banks as Sberbank and Ak Bars Bank and ATM and self-service terminal setup is being settled. After authorisation documents are issued, ATMs will be set up in the campus,» promised Farid Abdulganiev.

Loss of IDs and student campus cards provoked a vivid discussion. How to get in the student campus when there is no passport or pass in the pocket? «Unfortunately, loss of campus cards is not a rare case, however, a procedure of issuing passes is standartised. There is a list of all the Universiade Village residents at each entrance gate, so campus security guards will let you inside the campus,» assured the mayor.

The problems raised by the students were diverse: from lack of driers to pass system into other buildings, etc. The students were even interested in what dining halls would be opened on the premises of the Village and when. There were a few topical problems that the mayor took note of for later consideration.

The mayor of the student campus paid a close attention to all questions and provided a detailed reply to each of them. Almost all the questions were covered during the session, but Farid Abdulganiev also said that Universiade Village residents were free to visit him during office hours to discuss all pressing matters.
