Rustam Minnikhanov meets with PricewaterhouseCoopers executives 26.01.2012
On the sidelines of the 2012 World Economic Forum which is running these days in Davos, Switzerland, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with executives of PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Partner of the 27th World University Summer Games in Kazan
In the words of Iskander Muflikhanov, Director of the Presidential Department of Foreign Affairs and Aide to the President of Tatarstan Republic, the parties discussed the results of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ activities in the Republic of Tatarstan, including the partnership in the run up to the 2013 World University Summer Games, the joint measures aimed at attracting foreign investment to the republic, as well as the cooperation with Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University in promoting educational projects (the regional office of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) opened in October 2011).
During the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov and PricewaterhouseCoopers executives also talked about deepening and expanding the PwC-Tatarstan cooperation to train experts, to elaborate an economic development strategy, etc.
For reference: PricewaterhouseCoopers has been working with Tatarstan’s companies since 1995. In August 2011, PwC signed a partnership agreement with the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate and became Partner and Official Professional Services Provider for the 27th World University Summer Games in Kazan. The services are provided in such areas as Marketing, Planning and Coordination, Finances.
