Russian team qualified for final of European Universities Table Tennis Championship 24.06.2010

The women’s team of Kazan (Volga region) Federal University will compete for the third place against the players of Moscow State University of Railway Communications.

In today’s morning fight between the women’s teams of Russian State University for Humanities and of Moscow State University of Railway Communications, the former battled their way to victory with a 3-0 score. In the meantime in one of the hardest matches of the tournament between the students of Kazan State University and of Jan Dlugosz University the Polish players had a narrow 3-2 win.

In the fight for the semi-final berth against the University of Geneva the Nottingham athletes came out the winners with a 3-1 score. The students of Kazan (Volga region) Federal University won 3-0 against the University of Coimbra (Portigal).
