Krasnodar region Governor Alexander Tkachev visited Universiade Village 30.06.2010

The delegation with Krasnodar region Governor Alexander Tkachev at the head also included Krasnodar Mayor Vladimir Evlanov, heads of ministries, departments and municipal bodies of the Krasnodar region.

Within the framework of the visit Alexander Tkachev visited the Universiade Village. The guests were accompanied by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Ministry of Information and Communication of Tatarstan Nikolay Nikiforov. The delegates studied the miniature models of the largest venue of the XXVII World Summer Student Games and of the international center and were shown students dorm rooms.

The aim of the visit is to adopt Tatarstan experience of introducing information technologies. During the visit Nikolay Nikiforov held a presentation of Tatarstan achievements in the field of introducing information technologies in the state management. The Minister of Information and Communication told about the electronic document management system that was introduced in more than 12 thousand companies and organizations of the Republic. Besides the Deputy Prime Minister presented the following projects: GLONASS+112, E-Healthcare, E-Education and E-Region. Nikolay Nikiforov offered the Krasnodar region officials to promote these projects jointly at the federal level, first of all regarding creation of necessary laws and regulations. Krasnodar region governor Alexander Tkachev was impressed by what he saw in Kazan. “It’s important for all of you to see and understand how we’ll live tomorrow”, he addressed the delegates. According to the governor Tatarstan sets an example in introducing IT in the state management and the Krasnodar administration, the municipal bodies have to develop in this direction. “The Krasnodar, the Kuban region has nothing close to it”, Alexander Tkachev regretted. “It goes without saying that Tatarstan leads in this field but we are also ambitious and claim top places. And we need to pursue these achievements.”

In his turn Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov promised to render any assistance to his counterparts. “We are totally open to discussions and are ready to lend support”, the head of the Tatarstan government addressed the Krasnodar delegates.
