A Kazan student will be the only representative from Russia at the European Council international training in Istanbul, Turkey
From July 18 till August 6 Istanbul will host the European Council representative training course on Intercultural Dialogue in Youth Work.
The major requirements for training entrants were their active involvement in social movements and opportunity to apply the gained knowledge in their countries and to share it with other young people. The youth delegates will study two languages in Istanbul: English and Turkish, that’s why the training also requires basic knowledge of these languages.
After applying online for the training course Kazan student Gulnara Nafikova passed the preliminary round and had a half an hour phone interview that tested her knowledge of Turkish.
In the tight struggle with young people from other cities and states Gulnara gave an excellent account of herself and won the right to represent Russia in Istanbul.
