Kazan 2013 officials visited Municipal Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children 27.08.2010

Today in the framework of the All-Russian PACK YOUR KID FOR SCHOOL campaign the officials of the Kazan 2013 Executive Committee met with first-form schoolchildren of the Municipal Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children. The kids were presented school kits, sportswear and sports facilities. The 2013 Universiade volunteers organised games and puzzles for the children.

We remind that the All-Russian PACK YOUR KID FOR SCHOOL campaign is held to render assistance to kids from socially unprotected, low-income, large families and also from families with disabled children.

The Municipal Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children was founded on December 30, 1993 at the initiative of the Parents of Disabled Children Association of Kazan with the direct support of first Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev and city authorities. The Centre’s Board of Trustees is chaired by head of the Privolzhsky district administration of Kazan Ravil K. Karimov. The Centre includes the department of medical and social rehabilitation and the department of social adaptation.
