I extend my sincere congratulations to citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan, workers of tourist industry and outdoor activity enthusiasts on World Tourism Day!
Tourism has turned into a dynamically developing industry in our republic. Undoubtedly, in 2013, in the year of the Universiade, we will witness an increase of tourist flow which will allow to take the tourism in the city, republic and in Russia to the next level.
Tatarstan has a huge potential for developing inner tourism and hosting foreign travellers. We have all we need: a variety of natural zones, the richest historical and cultural heritage. We see that the leaders of the Republic of Tatarstan give a special care and attention to preservation and reconstruction of unique monuments that have a huge historical value and attract crowds of tourists from all over the world.
It’s a matter of honour for each worker of tourist industry to render an accurate, well-coordinated work and provide our citizens with a good rest experience both in Russia and abroad. Rest quality, their experience and good humour depends on the professional expertise of travel agencies, their responsibility and devotion to work.
