The State Inspection for Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of the Interior of Tatarstan expressed its gratitude to the Executive Directorate of Kazan 2013 for their active participation in the social action devoted to the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims
The mass action devoted to the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims took place on November 22 last year in Kazan’s Basket Hall featuring university students, members of the Tatarstan Government and Kazan Mayor’s Office. The event was organized in order to pay a tribute to all victims of traffic accidents and their families and to remind people of the necessity to follow traffic regulations to ensure road safety.
At that time, the event brought together students of universities, technical schools and colleges cooperating with Team 2013, representatives of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate and Kazan 2013 volunteers.
On January 30 Head of the State Inspection for Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of the Interior of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov summarized the action’s results and expressed his gratitude to all participants of the event, particularly outlining the help of Kazan 2013 volunteers, students of higher education institutions and specialised secondary education establishments who are able to form a responsible approach to the road safety among teenagers.
Top priority was given to ensuring road safety during the upcoming 2013 World University Summer Games in Kazan.
