European Universities Table Tennis Championship: Men’s singles commence 25.06.2010
On the third day of the European Championship the Men’s singles events kicked off.
Two Kazan players Marsel Valeyev and Ramil Mutygullin qualified for the Men’s singles and got to the list of 32 players to compete in the morning program. Ramil Mutygullin will meet European Table Tennis Team Champion Arten Utochkin from Orenburg. Marsel Valeyev is to fight hard against one of the leaders of Rzeszov University of Technology Piotr Chmiel.
The most remarkable battle of the round of 32 was between two Russian athletes: Alexey Ulanov from Russian State University for Humanities and Ilya Zhidkov from Kazan (Volga region) Federal University.
