On behalf of the Kazan 2013 Executive Board I congratulate you on a truly national holiday – Athlete’s Day
It’s a wonderful time we live in when the role of physical culture and sports is increasing. Today it’s prestigious to go in for sports. Healthy lifestyle is becoming a credo for millions of Russians and it’s the merit of athletes, coaches and workers of physical culture, of all those who promote sports nationwide.
For the last few years Tatarstan proved that the Republic was the leader in Russian sports. It’s for reason that Kazan was named the capital of sports of Russia. Everything is done to ensure success. But we need to both strive for new victories and respect past achievements. We are proud of our victories and hope that thanks to our activity the World Summer Universiade 2013 will feature a triumph of the Russian athletes, coaches and Russian sports school.
I wish your sports journey to be full of records and achievements and devoid of injuries and bitter defeats!
