Sport was and is a significant part in the life of modern society. Thanks to your work we cheer about victories, rave about new records and admire great champions.
If sport unites continents then you are the bridge that connects hearts of sportspeople and supporters. The increasing interest of youth in new sports and growing number of supporters proves the significance of your tough but fascinating work.
The World Student Games have been main student competitions for many years. And the 2013 Summer Universiade will become a momentous event in sports development not only in Russia. Even today we have all grounds to say that the Universiade in Kazan will be a unique event beyond compare.
