Kazan 2013 Ambassador got silver at Russian Cup 30.01.2012
Ambassador of the 2013 World University Summer Games in Kazan, student from Saint Petersburg Polina Nikitina has taken silver at the Russian Archery Cup
The Russian Cup competitions took place in Orel, simultaneously with the Russian Youth Archery Championship. Kazan 2013 Ambassador Polina Nikitina participated in all 3 starts. She was an inch away to become a winner of the Russian Cup, but lost to an athlete from Moscow. And in the Russian Championship Polina’s team took the first place.
The young athlete admits: «Our rivals were strong as usual, because all of them want to show their full potential and that is why newcomers sometimes appear stronger than experienced archers. I am not satisfied with my performance just like any other athlete. You can always do better so I will start preparing for the next starts when I get back home.»
Let us remind that being 23, Kazan 2013 Ambassador Polina Nikitina is a holder of gold and silver medals of the World Summer Games 2011 in Shenzhen in individual and team archery events respectively.
