The Zilant Sports Complex was inaugurated in October 2009 and become one of the first sports venues, newly constructed for the Kazan 2013 University Games. The total area of the complex reaches 6,196 square metres and comprises an indoor artificial 1,000-seat rink, two fitness halls, medical and administrative facilities. During the Games the complex will host preliminary rounds of volleyball events.
