«I’m pleased that I was entrusted with such an important mission. Today I was filled with pride when I was carrying the FISU Flag in downtown Ekaterinburg. Further on, I would like to actively contribute to promoting a healthy lifestyle and popularising sports in the Sverdlovsk Region. I would like to take part in some capacity in the Games 2013 OC’s work in Kazan. I’m positive that Russia, as a great country of sports, will host the Universiade at the highest possible level and will amaze the world with its hospitality.»
