All-Russian University Rowing Competitions
All-Russian University Rowing Competitions are held at the Rowing Centre on June 22-26. The event's organisers are the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation, Russian Student Sports Union, Rowing Federation of Russia, Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate. The competitions are equivalent to the RSSU Canoe/Kayak Championship.
Winners in 19 boat classes will be decided at the tournament.
Women
- singles — lightweight, coxless pair, double scull - 2,000 m;
- coxless quad scull, double scull, single scull – 500 m;
- coxless quad scull, double scull - lightweight, single scull – 2,000 m.
Men
- singles — lightweight, coxless pair, double scull, coxless quad scull - 2,000 m;
- coxed eight, single scull – 500 m;
- coxless quad scull - lightweight, double scull - lightweight, coxed eight, single scull – 2,000 m.
Only athletes with the first grade in junior category and higher are eligible for the competitions:
- full-time students of higher vocational education establishments;
- students of higher education establishments that graduated on the year previous to the year of the competitions;
- postgraduate students.
The entrants must be less than 27 years old.
