Volunteers

On the threshold of the 2013 World University Summer Games the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate develops a special programme aiming to promote volunteer movement and raise Kazan 2013 volunteer’s status.

There are more than 1,500 volunteers in the database that participated in preparation and delivery of cultural events. For the past six-month period Kazan 2013 volunteers got involved in more than 50 events in Kazan and delivered over 200 presentations dedicated to the 2013 Summer Universiade. Top priority is given to volunteers training. The Kazan 2013 Volunteers Department works in close cooperation with the Erzurum 2011 and Shenzhen 2011 Organising Committees.
