Russian Junior Athletics Championship

The Russian Junior Athletics Championship will take place in Kazan on June 14-16. All the action will unfold at the Central Stadium, which is located on 2a Tash Ayak Street.

950 athletes from 70 regions of Russia are expected to compete in the tournament that will be overseen by 160 officials.

The championship is the final test event before of the 27th Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan. Athletics' FISU history started with its inclusion into the compulsory programme at the first edition of the Summer Universiade in Turin (ITA) in 1959.

Spectator admission is free.

Athletes and coaches will be housed at the Universiade Village. Meals will be provided at the Main International Centre (MIC); there will also be places to eat at the Central Stadium.
