Cooperation with non-profit organisations is one of the priority lines of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate’s activities aimed at raising awareness of the 27th Summer Universiade among young people.
The first steps to attracting non-profit organisations as partners for the Games were taken in February 2011. As of today, the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate cooperates with the following organisations: Student League of the Republic of Tatarstan, Creative Youth Academy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Sozvezdie-Yoldyzlyk Festival, Burevestnik Youth Physical Culture and Sports Society of the Republic of Tatarstan, NGO Miss Tatarstan, Youth Centre of the Republic of Tatarstan, Young Guard of the United Russia, NGO Youth of the Industrial Enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan, New Media Youth Information Agency, Republican Centre of Student Labour Teams, International Students and PhD Candidates’ Association of Kazan, Council of Directors of Specialised Secondary Education Establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan, National Council of Young People’s and Children’s Social Associations of Russia, Russian Union of Youth, Council of Rectors of Saint Petersburg’s Higher Education Institutions.
The International Students and Graduates’ Association of the city of Kazan (AISA) is a youth non-governmental organisation that unites international students and graduates studying in Kazan’s higher education institutions. The NGO conducts its activities based on such principles as equality of rights among its members, joint leadership and transparency of the decision making process. Read more
The Burevestnik Youth Physical Culture and Sports Society of the Republic of Tatarstan (YPCSS Burevestnik RT) was founded in 2000 upon the initiative of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan and university community. Read more
The Student League (RYNGO Student League of the Republic of Tatarstan) is a regional youth non-governmental organisation that unites 23 top higher education institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan and over 100,000 students in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Nizhnekamsk, Chistopol, Yelabuga and so on. Established in 1996, the Student League is now an active player in the youth policy of both the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia. The organisation conducts a range of activities aimed at protecting rights and promoting interests of Tatarstan students. Read more
The National Youth Council of Russia (National Council) is an association of NGOs that serves as a system of coordination and consultation for youth and children organisations. Read more
The Russian Union of Youth (RUY) is the largest non-governmental and non-political youth organisation in Russia, its mission is to help young people to find their place in the world and to expand their range of vision and interests. Read more
Miss Tatarstan organises festivals (contests) of grace, beauty and talent, including the Miss Tatarstan Republican Beauty Contest, Mini Miss Republican Beauty Pageant and others. Read more
The organisation focuses on revealing and supporting talented youth, encouraging the patriotic upbringing of young generation, developing organisational skills among young people, establishing and strengthening cooperation with NGOs on issues of spiritual growth and protection of youth rights, preventing negative social phenomena among young people through engaging them to creative and social activities.
