The Russian athlete Angelina Borodina said that she had to think better in the swim 10 kilometers in open water in Kazan.
On Wednesday Borodina finished with the sixth result in the Universiade competitions, losing to an American Ashley Twichell 1 minute and 51.2 seconds.

“First of all I want to thank the coach, doctors, organizers, masseurs for training. I had to think better somewhere, and I missed the jerk near the food item, and when I saw that my rivals were ahead, I could not catch up,” - said Borodina to the reporters of R-Sport. The athlete also complained that the water was too warm. “I poorly keep the hot water; we’ve always laid emphasis on the cold water and the optimum temperature of 19 degrees, and here the average temperature was 29 degrees Celsius and in some places up to 35. It was very hot; we’re as boiled dumplings there. It is difficult for me to make my body work in such water, I want to rest and to relax, "- added Borodina.
